Understanding the carbon dioxide removal range in 1.5 °C compatible and high overshoot pathways

چکیده

Abstract Carbon dioxide removal (CDR) features prominently in the 1.5 °C compatible and high overshoot pathways IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report (AR6, WGIII). However, amount of CDR varies considerably among scenarios. We analyze range volumes AR6 WGIII by exploring relationships between variables as potential driving forces, focusing on 2050 scenario properties linked to reaching net-zero CO 2 . It is also shown how relative absolute contribution total mitigation up until substantially differs across The 2100 cumulative throughout 21 st century were most strongly correlated degree which emissions are reduced a means timing robustness analyzed was evaluated comparing different filtering data-cleaning approaches. Beyond cleaning, additional factors that influence deployment scenarios, such discount rates, carbon price trajectories, design choices, discussed.

The Equilibrium Solubility of Carbon Dioxide in the Mixed Aqueous Solutions of Triisopropanolamine and Monoethanolamine in the Range 30-70 C and Low Partial Pressures

The equilibrium solubility data of CO2 in the various aqueous blends of triisopropanolamine (TIPA) + monoethanolamine (MEA) with the total alkanolamine concentration of 2 mole / dm3 were measured at the temperatures of 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 oC and CO2 partial pressures below 100 kPa. The experiments were done in an atmospheric gas absorption syste...

Catalytic removal of nitrogen dioxide in the air stream by nickel and nickel- platinum supported multiwall carbon nanotube.

Introduction Nitrogen oxides as one of the most dangerous environmental pollutant, have harmful effects on the health of people in the workplace. Today, the catalytic oxidation of nitrogen oxides is a highly efficient method for removing of this gases  that has been dedicated part of researches. The aim of study was to investigate the removal efficiency of  nitrogen dioxide (NO2) by nickel and...

Extracorporeal carbon dioxide removal to "protect" the lung.

The case histories are presented of three adults who had severe hypercapnic acidosis despite mechanical ventilation with what were considered to be injurious tidal volumes and airway pressures. The use of a percutaneously inserted arteriovenous extracorporeal carbon dioxide removal (AV-ECCO(2)R) device facilitated a dramatic reduction in the amount of ventilatory support required, achieving a "...
